It's been a few years since i have done friend Birthday parties for my kids & Karlee was begging that I let her have one since she is turning TEN this year!!

Oh my really I have a kiddo that is that old!!

Wow!! How time has just flown by. It really feels like not that long ago was the day that she was born & now she's turning 10!!!!!!!!

Well anyway here are some fun pictures of her

Then we made home made soaps!!

The girls had so much fun with it!!!

They got to pick colors & scents to make their soap!!

And i have no pics cuz i was busy trying to help them with it all!!!

I am soo sad!!:( but you can only do so much right?

Halloween 2010

Halloween night was super fun this year even though it was RAINING all night long.

We had our Annual Halloween party it was a BLAST!

Thanks mom for hosting it at your house this year!

We had Yummy SOUP & ROLLS & some fun Halloween treats!

Even McKenzie was loving the SOUP & she is my picky kiddo!!!

My mom made these very CUTE spider web cupcakes!

Cayden thought they were the COOLEST things ever & yes they were TASTY!

She also made these jello WORMS!
I couldn't eat them at first cuz they look WICKED GROSS but they tasted good once you didn't think you were eating some NASTY BLOODY WORMS!!!

Thank you so much for the fun & YUMMY FOOD this year it was so much fun & we can't wait to see what's new for next year!!!!

I kept asking McKenzie what she wanted to be for Halloween & all she said was that she wanted to be a princess!!!
I told her that she is my little princess & of course she would laugh & say "NO MOM A REAL PRINCESS"
So here is my CUTE SNOW WHITE!!!!
She was not liking the wig much but she did look ADORABLE!!!!

And then there is Cayden!
He didn't care what he was for Halloween as long as he could GROWL!!!

So we tried to think of something that was not too much but she was still dressed up & this is what we came up with.
I think she looks like such a CUTE COWGIRL!!!
While we were TRICK OR TREATING everyone kept looking at her like "AREN'T YOU A LITTLE OLD TO BE TRICK OR TREATING?"
I felt like putting a sign on her or telling them all she is only 9!!!
Yes she does look much older & getting TALLER every day!

My brother didn't have any plans so the kids were so excited to have their TIO DAVE there to hang out with!

Halloween SURPRISE

So we got a package on the porch from the FED EX guy. The kids were so excited to see what was inside!

Once we opened it this is what they found:

Grandma & Grandpa Hilton sent these cute Halloween bags for the kids

with all kids of fun Halloween treats inside.

The kids had so much fun pulling out all the fun things and playing with them.

Thank you Grandma and Grandpa Hilton!!!

It was so fun to get a Halloween Surprise.

FRIGHTMARES!

We had not used our season passes to Lagoon since school has started so we decided to take a trip to the Lagoon FRIGHTMARES!!!!

It was alot of fun & all decorated for Halloween!

The kids were so excited to see everything Halloween looking at lagoon!

Lagoon had a little corn maze you could walk threw and get little treats along the way.

And they had a cute little haunted house for the kids to go threw and collect some CANDY!!!

As if they are not going to get enough later tonight TRICK or TREATING!

The kids had today off of school today so we decided to do something fun with our time!

And all you who know me know that I LOVE to bake!!!!!!

Ok so yes TODAY was my birthday & yes I did turn 30!!!!!!

Wow! I can't belive I'm that old. REALLY????

It was a fun day I just did the normal for the day take kids to school, loads of laundry, dishes & all the other fun things us mom's get to do!!!:)

But then this evening I went to TEXAS ROAD HOUSE with Jake & one of my BEST friends & yes no worries they did make me sit on that DANG SADDLE!!!!!

Then after a way yummy dinner & way tooo much food we went to my parents for PIE and Presents!

The kids were all so excited to help me open my presents!

We are all holding up these way cute little puppets that McKenzie made for me all by herself. My Mom said that she thought of it all by herself!

She was so proud & told me that she worked so HARD on them!

Thank you Kenzie I LOVE THEM!

Then Karlee made me a very cute card and Fan!

She is so creative.

Thank you so much for making me feel like a #1 MOM!

I just have such good kids!

Then my girls wanted to do a little puppet show!

It was so cute they even sang some songs to go along with the acting!

Murder Mystery

Tonight was our 2nd annual MURDER MYSTERY PARTY!
We have the party instead of reading a book in October for our book club & we LOVE IT!
My character was Dawn Ovdee Zombees

I was a nerdy witter who did not like the way that Zombee's were being portrayed in the movies!

It really was alot of fun!

Thanks to all who helped to make it a sucess & a special thanks to Kamee for having it at her home.

The FOOD was so DELICIOUS!

And home made root beer! That's so one of my many favorite things about HALLOWEEN!

CANDY CORN COOKIES

I saw these way cute cookies that looked like CANDY CORNS on a blog that I love & decided to try them with my kiddos!

Boy oh boy were they a process!!

But it was still alot of fun!

First we mixed up the dough made three balls & then colored it yellow, orange & white.

Then we put in the fridge to cool for an hour or so. That was the hardest for the kids! They were so excited & ready to make the cookies. One hour was like an ETERNITY!!

Then came the fun part rolling out the dough!!!! YEAH!!!

Two rolled out one more to go!

Nice hair Karlee!!

Almost got them all rolled out!

When we were done rolling them out we stacked them on top of each other.

Then we rolled it all up like a burrito! HA HA

Put it back in the fridge to cool a bit more!

We cut them up & baked them!

It was a long process but it was alot of fun & made a BIG mess but we had FUN!

And the COOKIES tasted really YUMMY too!

Muller Park Canyon

Today the GUYS decided to go out and MOW the lawn.

It was so funny to see Cayden trying to be just like daddy.

So look at this boy and what he is wearing:

He is wearing shorts and a t-shirt cuz he said it was warm. Then he got alittle cold so he wanted a sweatshirt and he is wearing McKenzie's SNOW boots that she uses for he CHICKEN boots since it is alittle muddy back by our CHICKENS.

He looks aliitle silly like he is not quite sure what SEASON it is!!!

It is now officially OVER till next spring!!!

We are done with our soccer games till next season.

Sad that it's over but excited for next season we decided to have a PARTY!!!

Everyone that was able to make it brought a treat to share and we all had alot of fun LAUGHING and PLAYING like we do BEST!!!

We even made some cute hair clips that we can wear next season.

Great Job this season girls you did GREAT!!!

Today is the day & Karlee is NOT excited!!!

She gets to have the last 3 baby teeth that she has pulled out to make room for the new & help with getting those braces on.

I picked her up from school & all she kept saying was
(I DON'T WANT TO GO!!!!)

We talked about being SUPER BRAVE & had a little prayer before we went into the dentist office.
I was just hoping & praying that she would do ok!!

This is AFTER the SCREAMING & CRYING & teeth were PULLED!!!

Poor thing it was not a fun thing. they numbed her really well but Karlee is my DRAMA girl.

She cried the entire time.

So after she calmed down & was feeling alittle better we went to the yougurt stop for some frozen yougurt.

Karlee's favorite place!!!

Good job trying to be brave today Karlee!

I am so proud of you & guess what no more teeth to pull!!

That is until those darn wisdom teeth come in. Thank goodness they put you out for that one!!!!!!!

Cayden went to preschool today & when I went to pick him up he had this way cute spider hat on.

I LOVE DIET COKE!!!

But i guess you know your addicted to the stuff when you have to have a drink first thing in the morning with breakfast!!!!

So I decied to quit cold turkey!!!!

Yes that means NO MORE DIET COKE!!!

Jake really just laughed cuz I have said it before but have not followed threw.

But i am here to tell you that it has now been alittle over TWO WEEKS!!!!!

And I feel GREAT!

Yes the first few days I had some really bad HEADACHES & alittle CRABBY but I did it!!!!

So tonight we asked the kids to climb in bed cuz it was getting late & yes there is school tomarrow.

So as I was saying goodnight to the girls Cayden went & jumped in bed saying ( i wait for you mom) so when i was done in the girls room i went into his room & this is what i found.

Oh yes that is a LITTLE PEOPLE toy in his mouth & YES he is ASLEEP!!!

I had to pull his mouth open hard to get it out cuz he really was way asleep & didn't budge while I pulled it out. What a funny boy really!! I guess he figures that it was a good place for a toy while he waited. LOL!!!

Jake & I sure got a good laugh out of it!!!

Ok really I have to post this embarrassing yet SAD story!!

I was out running around today like CRAZY like I always do cuz I'm a mom & always have something to do & I get a phone call from the girls school. My first thought was oh no what happened with Karlee???

Yeah I answered the phone & it was McKenzie's teacher asking if I was going to come & get her??

Oh my gosh!! It was 12:10pm & she gets out at 11:25am. When I got to the school she looked alittle worried that i wasn't going to come for her & her teacher said I think she needs a hug cuz she's been sitting in the office for 45 min. So needless to say as I am posting this right now I am feeling like one of the worst Mom's in the WORLD!!! How do you really just completely FORGET your kid at school????

After we got in the car she kept on asking me why I hadn't come to get her & that I FORGOT about her! I told her that I had been busy doing things & it just slipped my mind. She said "DON'T DO THAT AGAIN K!!

So from now on I think I will be setting an alarm to remember to go & get her!!

BRACES

YES Today Karlee got her BRACES on!!

She did so well at the orthodontist. I thought we were going to have some DRAMA but she did GREAT!

Tonight I got Cayden out of the tub & told him to get his p.j.s on because you know he doesn't need help any more cuz he's BIG!

So I left him in his room & a few minutes later he came walking out into the living room looking like this!

So I dont know if you can tell but the PANTS are on his head & the SHIRT is at his feet.

Utah State Fair

My Little CHICKENS!!!

They tought this big chicken was so fun siunce we have our own chickens they love anything to do with chickens!

We got to see the COWS!!

Karlee said "they are so cute can we have one??"

Jake said " WE don't have any room for a cow plus how FUN would that be to clean up after?"

There was a cow there at the state fair that could produce 10 GALLONS of milk a day!!!

Holly COW! What would you do with that much MILK!

This was by far the cutest thing!!! It is a baby JERSEY COW that is only a WEEK old!!!

It was so cute it just let you go right up to him & pet him.

AND PIGS!!!!

We went to see the program they ahd for MEXICO & their INDEPENDANCE DAY!

It was fun to see & my mom had a blast!

Grandma LOVED telling the girls about how she used to dance like the dances being performed!

Today the kids & I went to my cousin Vanessa's baby blessing.

Natalie Ann looked so beautiful. We were so glad we could be there to be a part of it.

Today was Mckenzie's first soccer game. She was so excited to be playin soccer just like her big sister. It was so cute those cute little girls clump together to get the ball & try to kick in the goal.

McKenzie did a GREAT job getting in the group & getting the ball away from the other team. She ended up being the ONLY one to score on her team TWICE!!! GREAT JOB !

Ok so funny story... I picked Cayden up from preschool & decided that it would be fun to take the kids to the park since it is such good weather. We picked up lunch & went to play. Mckenzie was jumping around playing but walking kinda funny. So I asked her "why are you walking funny do your shoes hurt"? Are they too small we jusr got them for shcool. She said " I don't know." alittle while latter she sat down on the blanket took her shoes off & took out TWO cars!!! I asked her WHY she had cars in her shoes & she told me that she wanted to bring them to play & didn't think that i would let her bring them to the park. What a SILLY girl! So the next time your kids are WALKING FUNNY check their shoes for treasures!

So today was Cayden's First day of preschool!!!! He was so cute & so excited to go see his friends & Mrs. Eggett. I was a little sad though my baby's going to preschool! Is he that old really?? But I was telling him goodbye & giving him a kiss & a hug telling him to have fun & he said, "MOM but I be sad:(" I asked why & he said cuz I miss you mom!!! Oh that made my heart melt & yes I started to cry!

Labor Day

For Labor day we decided to go do something fun as a family & take PAPA & Grandma with us.
So we went to BOONDOCKS & went Bowling!

Soccer Game

Today was Karlee's first soccer game. She was a little nervous about playing again but she has the same girls on her team as last year & a few new ones too. Yes, I am the coach again!!!! It really is alot of fun to watch the girls learn to play & get along with eachothe. I have enjoyed it alot. Anyway she did an AWSOME job at the game. She scored not just ONCE but TWICE!!!! Good job Karlee we are so PROUD of you!

It was so fun to see all the Geddes side of the family minus a few who were unable to make it.

Then we went to Jake's cousin KERBY'S house & had a slip & slide down their big hill.

Yeah!!! I got a picture of EMMA she doesn't usually let you so I was happy to get one!

Movie Night at the Park

At Centerville Park every Thrusday night during the summer they have a family fun Movie Night.

So my friend Jenny & I decided to try it out with the kiddos!

Bee Sting

Mckenzie was out in the back yard playing on the swing set & got stung by a BEE right on her eye lid.

She came in screaming saying a bee had stung her holding her eye & her eye was totaly swollen SHUT.

Poor thing I felt so bad. But look at her still SMILING!!! She's amazing I need to be more like that when bad things happen to me or I have a bad day!

McKenzie lost a tooth

The other day McKenzzie said that her tooth was loose. I told her that she should not make them loose on purpose cuz then it will yake a while for them to grow back. She had started to wiggle them alittle because Karlee just recently lost a tooth & she wants to be like her BIG sister.

But i guess that it was time for it to fall out anyway cuz the new tooth has started to come threw.

She was so excited to get her DOLLAR from the tooth fariy.(WOW the tooth fariy has gottn expensive since i was a kid! I think i might have gotten 50 cents!:)

STICHES

Well never a dull moment at our house. I was out at a girls night in our ward & got a text from Jake. Cayden fell hit his head it bled, I cleaned it up. he might have a scar but i think he is ok.

So when I got home from the girls night I looked at his cut. Sure enough he needed STICHES!

So we made the trip to Primary's! YEAH!!!

So once there we waited FOREVER cuz you know how it is in the ER!

Then when we finally made it back to a room & they started cleaning it out they told me that they would have to sedate him to put the STICHES in. Which by the way he totally needed STICHES cuz it was alot deeper than it even looked. They gave him some meds that really just made him LOOPY! It really was so funny!!! I wish that i would have had a video camera. He kept staring at the ceiling laughing & saying "mom look at that?" Of corse there was nothing there. Then the nurse came in & asked how he was doing & he said "I FARTED" laughing with hickups!! She said he was like a drunk 3 year old!!! Once we were done they told me it would take a while for the meds to wear off so watch him. Well the whole way home he was talking to MIMI (Mckenzie) only she was not there & saying that the refineries were BIG GUYS SMOKING!!!!

It was seriously the funniest thing!!! I'm sorry you got hurt BUDDY. Feel better soon & NO JUMPING ON THE COUCH!!!!!!!
